Human Snowball

In Human Snowball, it seemed like it was a story about adventure, and also trying to get in contact with other people. No matter who it is it seemed like the main character in here was trying to overcome obstacles in order to see his girlfriend working at the bar. Along the way when he met Vernon, the soon to be 110 year old man on the bus, it probably seemed to help him knowing he had support from another person. Vernon himself was trying to see his great-granddaughter, and seemed to have his own doubts about it. He said how he really wasn't the type of Great-Grandfather he had planned to be or the one she had planned for. But he was trying to make it up for her in the end by visiting her. Chris Darrell's friend also was probably a major help to them by driving them around so they could see the people that they were trying to. A connection seemed to form between them in trying to do what they wanted. When they were able to have this connection between them, it gave them the strength, and the courage to get through these challenges. They were helping each other, and gave one another advice on how to handle their situation. For example when Darrell wanted to meet up with his girlfriend Lauren Hill, he was nervous because he did not see her for several weeks. Therefore he was not sure what to do in this situation. Being that he was in a rough bar, in a different city he had to find a way to make it happen. For all of the characters it was a matter of being able to keep on accomplishing what they had to. Chris even tried to help fix Vernon's Great-Granddaughter's car which was an act of kindness in showing compassion for another person. These kinds of acts are what made them stronger.
