Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 220 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

How to not get grounded when you fail a class
The first thing you gonna need is to have a car. A new would work better but a decent one can also work. When you have the car, go to your parents and tell them that you crashed the new car you got or they bought for you. The moment they hear the bad news, they gonna freak out. When they seem angry, then you tell them that is a joke and that you just fail a class. For this to work, you need to be fast but not so fast. Try to practice with friends and good luck!
