Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 220 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

Dogs
Sometimes I feel sad for dogs because they stay at home alone and when you come back they get happy to see you. This happens over and over. Just imagine if you were a dog and when your owner goes to work, you stay at home waiting for him. I personally hate waiting for someone to come home. That is the saddest part of being a dog. The other sad thing is when the owner can't keep the dog or doesn't want the dog anymore. When this happens, they just throw them to the streets.
