Some always lie
and fall weak.

but I say

Under the beauty of they sky
Think fast & live
Like honey.

  1. I get that honey can live but I don't get how honey can be fast? Because when I put honey directly from the container is going slowly.

  2. I understand how honey can be related to living being that honey has a very long experation date, but the only thing is how can honey be fast? Maybe because people love honey so much that it can go away fast, but besides that I'm not sure how that part fits in. I agree with the first two lines because I feel the same way some people do just lay around taking defeat and there is no reason for it

  3. this is cool, like our classmates have said the imagery seems to give off a counter intuitive sense of direction, as honey moves slow yet the authors urge the reader to think fast and live like honey. If I spun it I'd say that all humans eventually lie, either to themselves or others, and fall weak to the pressures of life. So maybe the thinking fast speaks to the possibility that quick realizations with regards to one's self, growth, and environment can mitigate the losses suffered from an inevitable falling into life's traps. Then honey could be an ideal of something pure, immutable, resilient, standing the tests of time while maintaining its natural essence unchanged by unforeseen variables. To be like honey is to be at peace with ones own nature, as all things under the sky are called to do.

  4. A response for the honey part of the poem. So the part where we said “think fast &l live like honey” what we meant by that was live fast, don’t over think thing make a decision and live with. Weather it’s a right or wrong decision, ride it out and ride it out slowly, and enjoy the ride. Enjoy the good and the bad ( like honey) cause you never know what that decision could do to or for you. By the way sometimes honey isn’t always a good thing, because honey is sticky
